Witnessed Drug Deal in Parking Lot!
I didnt even check in, after I arrived and parked my car, I literally witnessed what had to be a drug deal. Right in the apartment parking lot. I saw a car waiting, someone staying there came out, was handed cash from the two people in the car, and then handed them a small baggie from his pocket. It couldnt have been weed. Didnt feel safe and left without checking in. The hotel isn't willing to refund me, so heres the truth about Coratel Inn, in Hastings.

The signage for the building was off, parking in rear was adequate but there was no exterior lighting when we arrived, it did get turned on later in the evening. Room was clean & comfortable.

Decent, minimally acceptable.
Needed a place to stay to get out of bad weather roads till the next morning. It served its purpose. The room was clean and quiet. Was surprised by the linoleum flooring. A rug would have made it nicer. The bed was comfortable and the tv worked, which is all we really needed. Price was amazingly affordable, but you get what you pay for, so we were satisfied.

We stayed there earlier this year and thought the place was alright, they had just changed ownership. Decided to stay again as we were in town for a concert and the rate was fair for one night. Had an upstairs room this time. The bedding had not been changed and it was filthy. The bathroom had debris in it from the last visitor. Went to turn on the TV and it wasn't plugged in, got it plugged in and it wouldn't turn on. The bed was uncomfortable and with the dirty bedding one if us didnt sleep well at all. The front desk folks were around, but to be honest we just got out as soon as we got up. Its ok, but if you stay, check the bedding!

It's a great place to stay very friendly and prompt service the rooms are very nice the house cleaners do a good job at keeping the rooms clean and they're actually updated very nice motel for the price compared to the other price range offerings I would say this one is a win-win for sure

The front desk refused to give us an extra blanket or pillow. Then called the room to ask how many people where in our room. He assumed we had extra people in our room and refused to let me have an extra blanket. The towels were stained and had brown small chunks of - who knows what on them.
