This is a low budget motel and probably the last in Laurel that offers smoking rooms. It looked like they were in the process of upgrading the flooring and, indeed, our floors were laminate rather than carpet - a plus in high humidity areas such as Laurel. The room was clean but the amenities were old - the microwave clanked and banged, the fridge froze your food no matter where you set it, and the video quality on the few available cable channels looked to be 480i despite being fed to a small LCD screen. For the price, I really didn't expect more, and it could've been far worse.
There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and the neighborhood was quiet and surrounded by trees.
