A scent of Pot
Enjoyed my stay in a refreshed room which was perfect.
Reno work was easy to still get around.
Cable TV could be reviewed for channels relevant to today’s popularity.
The pot smoking somewhere on my floor went on all week- I guess they can’t read or can afford the $300 damage deposit- it’s pretty common in hotels worldwide. I wasn’t bothered but it is smoking.

i had a pleasant stay
It was a very nice stay overall - the place has some renovation areas. The carpets are worn and there was an area in my room that smelled strange, but the kitchen was great, it was roomy. The bed was comfortable, the shower was strong and the hot water came immediately. It's a nice view - lots of stores nearby.

It could be nice but very shabby.
This neighgourhood is fantastic for travelers. It is eclectic, with plenty of choices for great food. It is also an easy walk to Stanley Park, Yaletown, Granville and the harbours. You also have great views from the property.
Despite the potential and the price tag, it is inexcusably shabby. I hate getting ripped off by poor management!

Special touches for the Eras Tour weekend!
We stayed during the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert weekend. The hotel was perfect for our needs. There was a Taylor Swift gift bag in our room and decorations in the lobby. The hotel helped make the weekend feel very special! The room was very comfortable, with a small kitchen and sitting area outside the bedroom. We had a balcony with a view over the city. Thank you so much for the extra touches!

Beware of Non-Upgraded Rooms
This was simultaneously the most expensive and worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I understand that pricing was high based on the Eras Tour being in town and we were willing to pay the price for the accommodations that were advertised. However, our room was absolutely disgusting and looked NOTHING like the photos shown in the listing. The hotel is apparently under renovations so some floors/rooms have been updated and those are the images used to advertise the hotel. Our room smelled like wet dog, some of the furniture was broken, the wall tile in the shower was buckling, the bathroom sink sprayed water everywhere and was boiling hot and the blow dryer only blew cold air. The carpet was filthy and the lampshades had mold growing on them. The staff were very friendly, but couldn’t help much since the hotel was fully booked.

Desperate times
We stayed here because it was walking distance from BC Place and reasonably priced for a high traffic weekend (we went to the Eras Tour). The service was great but the hotel itself was extremely dated and didn’t feel the most clean. The smoke detector was hanging on by a thread, the pull out bed had stains all over it. It was fine for the night under the circumstances we were in but I wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Okay but beds need upgrades and more staff needed
Great location, nice little hotel. Service was friendly and tried to be helpful but severely understaffed leading to long checkout / bag check lines. Elevators were not all working leading to very long wait times at busy times. This was swiftie weekend so I'm sure they were 100% capacity but it was still difficult. Main bed was okay on comfort, sofa bed was not sleepable, so many springs and bars. They also gave us a cute welcome bag and face sparkles which was very sweet.

It was a pleasant visit. Unfortunately, our stay was in the middle of their major renovations, however, that did not impact our stay there. The room was comfortable, the gym was a decent size, but lacking in free weights. Close to a lot of restaurants and attractions,

Housekeeping rules!
I enjoyed my time there. I was not pleased that the housekeeper knocked at 9 am to see when i was checking out. I found that rude and really not part of her job. I wanted to sleep in a bit, but was prevented from doing so.

This was a great location for a stay in Vancouver. While the hotel is older and a little run down it was clean and comfortable. It was centrally located making it easy to access all sights in Downtown Vancouver. There were a ton of small independent restaurants to choose from within 800 meters of the hotel . The view of the sunset over the bay from our room was spectacular. Sunset Beach and English Bay Beach were close by as well.
