Serviceable but no frills
We booked this as it was the cheapest option closest to the cruise terminal. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quite old and is quirky to go along with that- small elevator, odd staircases, very small rooms (12 x 12 approx). It is a no frills hotel. Rooms were clean and the bathrooms serviceable. The breakfast area was in the basement and appeared to have a water leak during our stay.

Great value in Vancouver
The Day's Inn in Vancouver isn't the most posh hotel in the downtown area, but it certainly provides the most value. Our room was very clean, very well maintained, the included breakfast was actually pretty good - at a price that was much less than our other night in Vancouver at one of the most famous destination hotels in Vancouver, which was part of a extensive trip package. So, our 'extra' night in the city worked out really well

The staff was very nice, and the room was clean, but I would not stay there again. The rooms are very old. Wires run along the floor. Outlets in the middle of the bathroom mirror. Small. The elevator is old and decrepit. Very strange vibe. Continental breakfast was good. GREAT location. Sirens constantly though. Pricey for this type of old hotel.
