Route Inn Choshi Eki is a 3-4 year old Hotel that's relatively new. It ticks all the boxes in Quality Service Room and facilities. Staff service that's typically high quality Japanese. Amazing stay and well done.

Excellent airport shuttle service, clear instructions from hotel and easy to find. Welcoming and efficient service at reception, especially for tired travellers late at night. Comfortable room, we slept well. Would thoroughly recommend to travellers as a better option when arriving in Tokyo than travelling for a further hour into the city by the express train and then trying to find your expensive accommodation.

Gorgeous place in a beautiful setting, perfect for some light hiking to some amazing local shrines and nature. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful (even took my husband into town to grab some things for dinner one night). And the food Iwy cooks is amazing! Especially her little fish and cheese things and the fish in these amazing sauces, loads of traditional dishes made from local produce fresh and amazing. So yum! We even got to try on some traditional japanese outfits which the kids really...

From start to finish, our stay was very good.

The property is really unlike any other place i have stayed - a beautiful set of three 100-150 year old buildings, which have been converted into luxury accomodation. You really feel like you are just staying in a traditional house in the village... except maybe the decor is more modern and contemporary. The rooms are very large (think of a one bedroom house) and our room had a beautiful garden and seating area for morning coffee. The bathroom is also a real treat - a lovely cedar bath to soak...
