"We stayed in a Japanese/western room with our family of five for two nights. The window view of the sand bar, pines, birds, and water was stunning.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was amazing. My family was very happy. Delicious miso soup and excellent fresh tofu.
We went to the onsen (hot bath) every night. It was a great introduction to it for my kids.
My children all wanted to stay longer.

"really good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to. The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. Staff was super friendly and there was a music venue right next door, although we had other things we wanted to do so we weren't able to go. The only issue we had was the pillows are a lot stiffer than what we're used to so it was...

"This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!"

"We did not opt for the meal package so it’s possible we missed out on an amazing experience there but we did not miss out on the top level experience of the Kitanoya. Full Japanese ryokan room with the most luxurious 2 person open air granite ofuro I have ever seen let alone enjoyed with a delightful garden beyond.
We chose this place to unwind from the crowds of Kyoto and we could not have made a better choice.
Service was impecable. Can I give it a 6?
The hotel matches the incomparable...

"If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city).
The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area.
As this is not a city you are limited in the immediate area for places...

onsen.
My partner and I went there for one night, the room is very nice with it's own seating area (two chairs and a table) by the window.
There are yukata's by the entrance where you can pick one out and use during your visit (I totally wanted to bring one with me home, but didn't of course)
There is ping-pong included, just write your name down at the time slot you want to play. Parking's included.
There's also Karaoke but it cost a bit.

"The new indoor and outdoor hot spring pools are good. They also provided snacks and drinks in the rest area, which was very helpful after the hot spring bath. The river view and massage chair in the rest area were great. "

Experience a world beneath the ocean with a visit to Kinosaki Marine World, just one of the attractions in Kinosaki Onsen. If you'd also like to explore some of the parks in Tsuiyama, Genbudo Park is nearby.
You can learn about the history of Toyooka when you stop by Hachigoro's Tojima Wetland. Wander the gardens or discover the hot springs in this culturally rich area.
