It is a quaint hotel in the middle of town. It has free parking at the rear of the property which is secure at night. It has a lovely garden also at the rear of the property. The room was very spacious. The reception lady was brilliant, offering and delivering breakfast to us the night before as we had to leave before breakfast started.
The hotel is within the inner-city walking precinct and is challenging to reach by car. The gentleman who greeted us at reception was rather curt and untoward. I felt that I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. The room was smallish but clean with a view of the Cathedral and Rathaus. The city centre is very walkable from the hotel. The buffet breakfast offered a great selection of food both hot and cold. Would happily stay there again.
Lovely spacious, clean & comfortable room. Reception staff very nice. But the room was very austere. No kettle, no bar fridge. Parking process was very interesting!!! Initially had to drive up pedestrian street to hotel entry. Should have had better arrival instructions.
Pretty good, there weren't too many options when I booked for Aachen. A solid chain hotel on the outskirts of the city. Didn't do many hotels in Europe so I'm not sure of the real value I was getting. The only weirdness was the cleaning staff launched themselves into the room at 9am sharp while I was still sleeping (excusing themselves quickly).
