Learn more about Cádiz
Ancient walls embrace this Atlantic peninsula where history unfolds in sun-drenched plazas. La Caleta Beach tucks between medieval fortifications, offering perfect sunset views. The old town's maze-like streets reveal unexpected treasures - a flower-filled courtyard, a tiny tapas bar, a centuries-old cathedral. Climb Torre Tavira's camera obscura for a magical 360-degree projection of the city below. El Pópulo quarter preserves Roman foundations beneath Moorish arches. At the bustling market, fishmongers sell the morning's catch with theatrical flair. Don't miss El Gran Teatro Falla, a flamboyant neo-Mudéjar confection hosting flamenco performances that will raise goosebumps. The locals' passion for Carnival rivals Rio's, with satirical songs and elaborate costumes.

La Caleta Qe Hotels
"Interesting property, but in a good location. It's a non-descript building with no on-site staff, except for the breakfast hostess in the morning who couldn't speak or understand English. Entrance is done via a door monitor and that check-in process is @ a kiosk in the lobby. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The "balcony" on our room was basically a door that opened to a tiny step that overlooked an alley. Admittedly, it's a nice hotel at a good price, but don't expect much more."
Hotel Argantonio

Petit Palace La Viña formerly known as Soho Boutique Cádiz
"The location was in the heart of the city walking distance from restaurants and bars. Foot traffic only in the area. The front door is in an alley 200’ off the main walkway. Walking distance to the cruise ships. Very safe area."
Hotel Boutique Las Cortes de Cádiz
"Great location for old town Cadiz. Rooftop bar a bonus"
BYPILLOW Casa Gades

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Cádiz
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Cádiz is during January, November, and December, when hotel prices are lower. To truly appreciate the city's historical landmarks and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 days is recommended. During this budget-friendly trip, you can explore significant monuments, stroll along the beautiful beaches, delve into archaeological sites, enjoy birdwatching, and even try your hand at surfing. With the potential for prices to drop during these months, Cádiz offers great value for money for those looking to experience its rich history and natural beauty.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for accommodation in Cádiz, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, which could provide great savings on hotels. Additionally, Smart Shopping is a useful comparison tool within the app that allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best hotel deal available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Cádiz hotel. For those seeking unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you secure the best deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Cádiz's outstanding public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
