"We have stayed at this hotel before. This is a beautiful, quiet and traditional-looking place. The staff is excellent. The restaurant and bar are both good. This is in a were and modern part of Aguas but is a short Uber ride to the center. We love this place. "

"Some Horrible food items. Especially for such a high end hotel. The Monte Cristo was made cheap and like a kids sandwich. The "grilled chicken" was hardly that. It was remicrowaved frozen chicken that barely looked grilled and was thin chewy peices. You could actually hear the food being chewed because it was so gummy. Otherwise... Great rooms. Good drinks. All the nice spa amenities are separate, surprise! Staff service was good. Who wants to spend a night at a nice place and not be able to eat...

"This very historic property has been nicely renovated. The restaurant is first rate. The personnel at the property, to a man or woman are simply tops. Polite, friendly, helpful and always gracious. Easy access to the thermal baths across the street and on a main route to the historic downtown area. If you want to stay at a great property not overrun by tourists, this is the place for you. You will really feel like you are back in Mexico of olden days, but with all the modern amenities."
