"The location of the hotel is good in that it is right there on the beach, the area is more commercial than tourist though. We were on business so this wasn't an issue and there is always Uber to take you anywhere easily and quickly.

"We booked at The Winchester last minute because of canceled flights and we were thrilled we did. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was amazing. The location in Sea Point was great. Lots of walking and decent access to restaurants and shopping.
We took in the sunset every night at the hotel bar, which had wonderful food and great cocktails. We will certainly consider staying here again."

"Rooms facing the ocean have a beautiful view. Other rooms are dark during the day. Shower in my room was excellent with a strong water pressure. Overall, it is a bit worn out.
