Hotels near The Breakers

"This place was fantastic ! We took a chance booking a B&B as we typically look for a high end hotel, boy are we glad we did! Breakfast was great, room was charming, towels were plush, and owner went out of his way to make our stay memorable, giving us pointers for maximizing our trip. 10 out of 10!!"

"The house is beautiful. We stayed in room 10, it’s located on the 3rd floor so prepare yourself for stairs. The room was a good size with a great deck. The bathroom was modern. It was a perfect stay. The staff were courteous and the food was divine. The location is also very ideal. Close to everything, walking distance."

"This was our third stay at the Mill Street Inn and it won’t be our last. It’s located a couple of blocks up from Thames Street . . . so close to the “action,” but those couple of blocks bring you to a quiet peaceful spot. One of the things we really like about the Mill Street Inn is having breakfast brought to our room every morning . . . Allows you to have a nice relaxing breakfast in your room before getting ready to go out enjoy Newport."

"Beautiful condo especially when traveling with friends or family. Loved the layout with three bedrooms all having separate baths and a wonderful kitchen and deck. A great find in Newport. "

"Enjoyed our one night stay very much! Wish it could have been longer. Lovely, comfortable room, great bed, tasty breakfast and helpful staff. Close to Cliff Walk. Perfect location!"

"Great boutique hotel with owners present on site. Tony was there to greet us and send us off when we left. Tony makes sure that the coffee is ready and the breakfast foods are fully stocked. Lots of breakfast items to choose from. Very close to Easton Beach and to the Cliff Walk."

"I have stayed at The Outlook Inn twice now, and it has become my go-to B&B in Newport. The innkeeper and the staff are friendly and helpful, the accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent!"

"The property was very clean, very nice staff, and a good location. Our stay was wonderful !!!"

"This was my sixth time staying here. This time we came with a small group ,everyone thought the place was amazing. The staff, as usual, were absolutely great. The grounds this time of the year are almost magical in their appearance."

"Well located for down town and great to have parking on site (valet but good). A fairly new hotel, good accommodation, bar/restaurant and close to various watering holes and food. Would certainly consider next time in Newport."

"Perfect stay in a great location. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was amazing . So convenient to have parking onsite and included."

"Beautiful classic New England inn. Wine and appetizers set out in afternoon. Breakfast was outstanding."

"It was wonderful in every way. Beautiful historic property. Friendly host. Amazing full breakfast cooked to order. Cannot say enough good things. will stay there again."

"Just book it . I recently stayed here in March so a little off season but it was still a perfect weekend . Location mint . Parking in the back . I can only imagine what it's like in the summer , will be returning with the kids . Thank you for a great stay "

"The absolutely cleanest hotel we have ever been to. Every corner of our room was spotless. It’s not fancy and is not trying to be. It’s just nice and clean and has an authentic historic feel to it. Can’t beat the location. Central to everything newport. Rooms have lots of lights and the balcony provided plenty of opportunity for people watching (we didnt get the ocean view room). Enjoyable."

"We didn't have a dog with us (though we love dogs) but chose to stay here because of limited availability in town because of the car show this weekend. This place is an absolute gem. Our room was huge - it had a sitting room, a large bedroom and a big bathroom. The hotel is super clean and impeccable service. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!!!"

"Very good full breakfast. Excellent location. Best shower in the world, literally!!"

"Staff and Place was Amazing!!"
