"It looks like the city is trying to revitalize the area and this new Hotel delivers. You're taking a trip back in time with current amenities in a clean environment with easy walking distance to the river, parks, and main street. It has a full breakfast buffet of sorts served till 10 am although would be nice to have till 11 for us older lazy folks. On main street had an Italian restaurant that served up a good meal. Stayed in the Kings suite with awesome views of the river. Price per night was around $220 for the weekend rates but still way cheaper than similar California hotels where I live. Had a lively wedding party gathering downstairs which was good to see and still quit on the 2nd floor where I stayed. Overall, a great get away place to stay, just remember to put the voice on for your google maps as the roads, while they look easy, can wind around, especially going thru Salam back to Portland airport."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the room arrangement with the closet and sink vanity creating a little dressing area. The elevator was not working, but the 2 people at the front desk carried our stuff up to the 3rd floor. The room was quiet in spite of being located close to the interstate. My only complaint was the strong fragrance used in the hallways. I'd suggest not using any fragrance in the hallways. Fortunately, the room didn't have any smell/fragrance like the hallways. The breakfast was very good. There were hot options like eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, cold cereal, milk alternatives, small pots of yogurt, granola, 2 waffle makers, a nice selection of teas, and good coffee. There were bread, bagels and packaged pastries. There was a sign in the breakfast room saying they had gluten free options you could ask for."
