"Rooms were nice. Hot water dissipates pretty quick in shower. Cable tv is pretty sad with constant pausing and blurry screen. For the price compared to others in Salem its good. Breakfast is a plus!"

"This hotel is in a perfect location for walking around Salem. Close to dining and shopping, the state Capitol, and the Riverfront. The buffet breakfast is impressive. Our room was large and comfortable with all the usual amenities. When we visit Salem, we make a point to stay at The Grand Hotel."

"it was all good except that the safety lights shone in our windows majorly. And there didn't seem to be an "auto on" function for the a/c fan. the rest was good, all as expected (we've stayed there before)"

"Our first trip with a small dog. I looked at several lodgings and found quite a spread in pet fees. I haven't stayed at Motel 6 in a long time, and I verified that this property had pet space available.
Check-in was simple, the room was clean, and it met our needs for the night. I did not pay for a high-end hotel.
I got what I paid for. Coffee was ready in the office in the morning.
Everything in the room worked; paint, flooring, and bedding were in serviceable condition.

"For my purpose of visiting my son at Willamette University this property worked fine. It was an easy 4 blocks to his house and 6-7 blocks from campus. The price was very reasonable as well. And thy had a lot of channel choices on the TV which I appreciated.
On the downside my room was a non-smoking room but smelled like tobacco smoke and the bed spread had several cigarette burn holes in it. One of the drawers on the small dresser in the room was missing it's front. The maids forgot to leave a...

"Great location! Great staff! Room was clean and spacious. Pool area was clean. No breakfast served but restaurants within 2 mile radius. Location very close to highway… not close enough to hear the traffic but close enough for commuting. Parking lot clean and safe. I drive a nice car and no damage or tapering."

"I showed up so very late at night and was worried if I was gonna be able to check in or not. But to my surprise the front desk girl was very accommodating and assured me that I was fine. The room was clean the bed linens and towels were extremely white and clean. The appliances all worked really well. I was actually surprised about how quiet the property seem to be for being in the area that it was I was able to sleep great. It was affordable and welcoming. I will use this place again"
