"Disappointing. For a Vacation Club, this was unimpressive. Room was freezing and temp not easy to change - they had to send up an engineer - who was able to adjust it. TV impossible to figure out. Parking around our unit was difficult, especially when 3 spaces were taken by the hotel staff's golf carts. The room needs updating. The facilities definitely cater to an older clientele. They charge resort fees and then nicely ask you to help them clean up before you go (take the trash out,...

"My 15 year old son and I loved our stay here! The property is great - best beachfront access in La Jolla, plenty of beach space and food options onsite, and easy in and out. The amenities of the short golf courses, tennis, pickleball, cornhole, and more were a hit. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. The only thing to be aware of is that the rooms aren't luxury - though they make for a perfect stay at the beach with family!"
