"If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay this is the place. The property is beautiful. The staff is amazing from the moment you walking into the property. Staff is always ready to help. The rooms are amazing and clean. The food at their Liebre restaurant is delicious and so are the drinks. I highly recommend Montevalle. I cannot wait to return."

"My biggest issue was with one of the receptionists, who consistently made simple things unnecessarily difficult. When I arrived, there were two receptionists and around 10 people checking in, yet he wasn’t helping at all. At checkout, he told me I wouldn’t receive my refund deposit until 5 p.m. because staff needed to inspect every room first. I pointed out they could simply check mine, especially since checkout was at 11 a.m. After a short discussion, he suddenly said they could have staff inspect it right away, which made the earlier explanation feel pointless. The hotel also advertised paddle courts, but there were no paddle brackets available. Staff said they were “working on it,” which was disappointing. Breakfast was actually good, but another issue was that the hotel advertised having a gym when there wasn’t one. That felt misleading since amenities were an important part of why I booked this place."

"Overall, we liked the hotel and the property itself is very nice, but unfortunately there are a few reasons why we would not stay again unless these issues are fixed ASAP. The main issue was safety. The room access is through a code, but the code was printed directly on a wooden card. That means anyone who has stayed in that room before could potentially know the code. We also tried locking the room from the inside and couldn’t. There was no extra latch or safety lock on the door, and when we asked the employee about it, he said “no one would do that.” As a group of women traveling together, this felt very uncomfortable and unsafe, and we ended up putting a barrier against the door at night just in case. The second issue was the pillows. They were extremely uncomfortable and very high/thick. We all woke up with neck pain and ended up using clothes as pillows instead. Lastly, the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear everything — conversations, noise from neighboring rooms, kids crying late at night, etc. Sleeping peacefully was difficult. This is a nice property with a lot of potential, a continental breakfast might improve the experience abit. but these issues really need to be addressed ASAP for guests to feel comfortable and safe."

"It was barely sufficient but we were supposed to have 4 people condo( 1 queen and 2 large single beds), we only got 1 queen and one single beds. Nobody spoke English so it was difficult to communicate. Property itself was scenic, but really there were no amenities. Breakfast at adjutant Don Tomas was good. The road to it was country road, uneven with rough terrain. Definitely difficult to get Uber"
