The ratings were higher than I thought they should have been. The entire place was very clean. The staff was excellant. Not the greatest breakfast but sufficient. The beds left a little to be desired. The room could use a clock, light on night stand, chair in room with a room rate to reflect. A/C had this loud grinding noise and the traffic from interstate a little noisy. If price reflected I would recommend.

Good, but not great.
My stay was good overall. I stayed once before last year and I really enjoyed my stay. So much so that it was first on my list to stay when I knew I was returning to Baton Rouge. I must say, it was NOT the same this time. It's not horrible, but the condition of the hotel has gone down quite a bit in just one years time. Breakfast could've been better also. The service was good, no complaints there. If the upkeep of the hotel was better and the breakfast selection was better, I'd have no complaints.

The hotel was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. However, it sits right off freeway and the highway noise is LOUD! Ear plugs were provided if that tells you anything. Great breakfast.

Not coming back
We arrived to check in and was told unfortunately we only have a king bed room available. I asked why our 2 queen bed reservation was given away and she said, very rudely, it wasn’t given away, you didn’t pick a room. I told her I reserved a 2 queen bed room, she said yeah but we don’t have anymore. She called her manager and told us we could pay $70 more for 2 king bed rooms side by side. I wasn’t paying anymore than I already paid. Terrible service. Extremely rude.
