I had an amazing stay at Pangea Pod Hotel in Whistler! The concept of private pods was unique and cozy, offering just the right amount of privacy. This is a Pod Hotel, so it’s quite different than other places I’ve stayed in Whistler, but it was a lot of fun. It was perfect after a long day of driving where I just needed a simple, safe place to sleep for a few hours. It had a similar feel to a high-end hostel, but I think pod sleeping is next level. It was a fun experience and I wish there were more of these around.

Just OK, but wouldn’t stay there again
It was just OK, but I wouldn’t stay there again. You could never get an early check in as all the room cards (keys) to access your room start working at 4PM. If you wanted to do a late check out you have to pay extra. If you check out and want to leave a small bag they would also charge you. Basically you pay extra for every single little thing. Plus, the amenities in the rooms are not great, soap and body lotion is very cheap. In my opinion, not good value for your money.

Let’s say this is like a high end hostel scenario. Costly , but it’s in Whistler. A few more rules than I’m used to, but the staff were very helpful at helping me navigate this new kind of hotel experience . Overall I stayed there in a pinch, because I had no place else To stay and it turned out to be quite a pleasant stay.
