The Hotel D'Alcoutim is a lovely place to stay, in a quiet location in a quiet town, right on the river that forms the border with Spain. From check in to breakfast the vibe is relaxed but professional. The room was perfectly clean, and even though the bathroom showed slight signs of wear and tear, everything worked, the towels were fluffy and the hot water was plentiful.
