It was run down, the pictures on website were of a different hotel that they had closed and the room I was given was leaking water from ceiling in bathroom. However, the staff were so nice and helpful, and that prevented me from moving to another hotel!

Great Value for Stone Town
Nice little hotel very clean and friendly staff . Location is not off of a street but inside the walkways so was a little difficult to find at first . They have a spa on site and had a wonderful massage

Enjoyed A/C including fan and that the TV with BBC
As titled all good in this respect, however, hotel amenities were lacking. Happy to have breakfast included, but there were no other food options during the day. Location was buried within the alleyways and difficult to find, particularly as I was carrying my backpack and other gear.

Nice budget hotel!
The room was very clean and the staff very friendly! The hotel is walking distance to the ferry terminal and inside stonetown. The breakfast is good and the hotel is very well maintained!

ホテルなのに、バスタオル、フェイスタオルが準備されていないホテル。 催促したら、「後で持っていきます。」といわれ、待てどもなかなか持って来なかった。 仕方なく取りに行ったら、半乾きのタオルを持ってきた。 他にないかと尋ねたら、使用中のタオルを持ってきた。 最悪のホテルだ。 何故、こんなホテルをエクスペディアが取り扱うのか！ 宿泊代をかえしてほしい！

Diese Absteige hat den Namen Hotel nicht verdient
Ankunft 01:30h / hatte berechtigte Ängste überfallen zu werden ! Dieses Viertel hat sich in jeder Hinsicht das Wort „Mega Slum“ verdient ! Expedia sollte die Angebote selbst vor Ort prüfen anstatt ihren Kunden so etwas anzubieten ! Aufgrund dieser „Erfahrungen“ werde ich hinkünftig auf solche „Anbieter“ verzichten !!

Mold ruined my Zanzibar stay
First of all, service was great I was allowed to change room. But the hotel needs to deal with the mold problem that got me sick and ruined my Zanzibar weekend. The next day, the other staff was caretaking an apologized, but didn't offer my night for free, which I thought was weird. One hour after checking in, I got high fever and became very dizzy. I went to the bathroom and found half of the ceiling was covered in black mold. I had allergic reactions to it before and this one was heavy... I lost all energy but at 02.00 in the night, I had to leave the room and seek help from the reception. The receptionist helped me change room and it got a bit better. I changed hotel the day after (which as as planned). Unfortunately, the fever stayed for 2 days and ruined my Zanzibar weekend.

High recommend.
I'm really satisfied with this hotel. very close from ferry terminal and public bus station to Nungwi, local market, atc. This hotel is clean and bed is comfortable. Most of all, staffs are very kind, helpful and welcomed us. If I go to Zanzibar again, I'll stay in here.
