double charged for the room and Expedia do t care
I was charged direct to my credit card by Expedia. At the hotel they insisted that I pay deposit in cash (not card) deposit was 400rmb nearly 1.5 cost of room.
In the morning they told me they took room price out of my deposit. I showed them my reservation and then also my credit card account online statement to prove the money was already paid.
They wasted nearly 30 minutes of my time and insisted that I need to pay. I was late for my engagement and so had to leave.
I hotel refuse to return any of the 400rmb deposit.
I contacted Expedia who were very poor in their response and to date of writing I have received no resolution on this issue. I have paid nearly 2.5 the price for a room I stayed in only for a few hours.
Breakfast buffet was terrible, one of the worst I have been to in China. No coffee and food looked like it had been recycled for several days. I had breakfast in a Starbucks instead.
