Great location--close to the train station and historic city center Staff was very courteous, and we appreciated the upgrade to a larger room

4/10 Fair

The hotel itself on the inside is great with a wonderful breakfast and outdoor space to relax. The main issue is the lack of security outside and the location to the red light district. Be careful at all times.

The hotel itself was quite nice. Nice rooms and good facilities. A couple of surrounding streets are better to be avoided (homeless people, drunks, sex shows). It is very close to the central train station which was very convenient.

Overall a good experience and facilities were good. Some wear and tear in the rooms but they’re kept clean.

Good stay. Quiet room. Friendly front desk. One lift was broken and check in took a bit of time. Otherwise very good.

Clean hotel, friendly staff especially bartender. Not the greatest area, but felt safe enough. Quite a long walk to better restaurants.

i was here for 4 days for work so wasn't in the room a lot. the bed was comfortable and the walk-in shower was nice. it was a good walkable area with restaurants and bars nearby. we even walked to the train station on the last day which was close.

Once you get over the fact that the area round the main station is pretty awful, this hotel is comfortable, safe and well-situated. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room (Superior King) was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent.

Hilton Garden Inn is always the best choice in places we have never visited. I can count on them to be in safe areas. The staff are always courteous and available to help. Restaurants are elegant with menus choices for all.

Stayed for four nights.Room was a pretty good size for a European hotel and was very clean. They don't clean unless asked, but did so promptly when requested. Reception was very friendly and quite helpful. Did not eat at the hotel, but dinner prices on menu looked reasonable. The area between the hotel and main train station was a bit sketchy, but the hotel seems to be on the edge of a very professional / business neighborhood in the other direction. We walked around at night, and the area had quite a few pedestrians. We just kept our wits about us, as we do in any large city.

Great friendly staff. I forgot my phone charger and they helped make sure I was not stranded by helping me charge and gave me a return ticket to make sure my phone was given back only to me for my safety when I picked it up.
