OK, but check all the details before you book
The hotel was nice enough in a generic, clean kind of way. What was amazing to me is that after staying at all kinds of small hotels in Germany, with this being our final night, it was the only hotel that did not have a hair dryer in the room. Also, the clerks give you a run around with information and accuracy. Upon check in I discussed the 6 euro/pp shuttle with the clerk, and he insisted that it's a better deal than the taxi which would charge $12 for one person. We came down the next morning ready to pay for the shuttle and a different clerk asked if we were going to Terminal 1. We were going to Terminal 2, and he told us the shuttle only goes to Terminal 1. No budging on that. So we took a taxi, which was only about $10 euros for our two person party, and it would have been less except there was a lot of traffic, and the price was according to the meter.

Room was a little tired, bathroom especially. Shower head was broken. Our layover was short (10 hours for much needed sleep) and so calling to have it fixed or changing our room was not an option as it would have taken away from precious sleeping hours. Breakfast only served to 9.30 and buffet was not topped up at 9, so some things were already finished.

It was so easy to get a shuttle from terminal 1 at the airport right over to the Park Inn. The bus stopped at several hotels, but Park Inn was first-right in front of the door which makes it so easy. Check in was super quick, and they were very welcoming and willing to store my large bike box for me so I wouldn’t have to haul it up the elevator. It was so easy to go into downtown Frankfurt on the train (stop is right behind the hotel) and visit the Christmas markets! About 15 min ride without any train changes. The staff had a map and gave me directions. So helpful! The room was very clean and spacious. Great water pressure too. Cool changeable lighting, too. The shuttle back to the airport is 6€-cash to the driver or buy a token at the hotel counter. You can buy a hot breakfast there-but they did offer free coffee which was nice. Shuttle runs every 30 min back to the airport (stopping at a couple of nearby hotels first) and drops you off at terminal 1.

Park Inn, you should be ashamed.
Arrived Frankfurt Airport @ 23:10 due to delays & waited over an hour for the shuttle bus which did not arrive. Phoned the hotel but could only reach an answering machine. Eventually paid for a taxi which was a nightmare in itself with the driver throwing my bags out of the boot & shouting at me to get out of his taxi; all because he had waited 3 hours for a ten Euro fare. Tried the shuttle again the next day & found out that you have to pay six Euros every time you use it. On top of this the shuttle driver was very aggressive, not just with me. On my return to the hotel @ 12:10 in the afternoon I waited again for over an hour with no shuttle arriving. Tried to phone the Park Inn again but could only reach an answering machine. Phoned the Holiday Inn who use the same bus & was told the shuttle doesn't operate between 12 & 4pm. Nowhere does it give the operating times of the shuttle either on the booking site, at the airport or at the hotel. On top of that no kettle or fridge in the room & when I went downstairs to ask for some ice the person serving me ummed & aahed on whether they could spare the ice. I have stayed in many hotels in Frankfurt but the Park Inn has to have the worst service I have ever experienced. I certainly won't be staying there again & advise you all not to either. Radisson should be ashamed. If this would have been my first visit to Frankfurt, I would probably never go back but I know this is not the norm. Still not a good advertisement for Frankfurt!
