Amazing place
Great service, fantastic staff. Amazing breakfast. Perfect location. We had an apartment for 4 adults (family of 4) which was great the only thing we can complain about is the shower. It really is terrible and needs replacing. Other than that a perfect stay

Great location but not worth the price
Great location and bed clean and comfy No fridge in room and walls tatty and water damage and repairs in hall way. Window did not stay open so had to use bin to keep it open Shower temp not easily controlled and towels small +++ Breakfast room down in the cellar so not really that nice Breakfast only 7.30-9.30 even at weekend but they did provide us toast even though the cleaner vac’d the floor around us Booking not obvious if breakfast included Nothing eco friendly all single use packets of jam, butter etc Bag storage was the breakfast room which meant luggage could be accessed by anyone so not at all secure if flying later in the day Card needed for payment and ID but not explained Not worth £200

Great location for exploring the city, close to a variety of transportaion options. Clean bedding and towels. The rooms are a bit dated and worn, could use some refurbishment ie: carpets, noise reduction, better quality pillows but its an old building so expected. You can hear the people in the other rooms talking or their tv but most were respective and tried to be quiet. Great breakfast and wonderful staff.

Superb
I would definitely stay here again. The main advantages: the location is central to many attractions, particularly the British Museum which is right around the corner. It is a very convenient property to reach from Heathrow-The newish Elizabeth Line underground has a stop that is only a quarter mile away. Much less expensive that the Heathrow Express. Various guests have commented on different rooms. I was in a single room in the basement of the annex and couldn't have been happier. It faced away from the street, so no street noise at all. The room had a fridge and coffee pot. It had more space than I needed, and a small patio/garden. And then there was breakfast: a full English breakfast included in the room price! More food than I eat in a typical day. The proprietor was most friendly.

Not recommend
It is a townhouse converted to a hotel. Steep stairs, no elevator, if you have luggage or mobility issues, climbing up to your room on a top floor could be a challenge. One really had to push the lever on a toilet with force for it to flush. The water in the shower never became hot. The impression we had it was run as cheaply as possible. We felt the price/quality combination was not adequate. We will not be back.

A Very Comfortabe Stay
Very quaint and tidy. It could use with some updating, but its an understandably older building and I feel it would take away some of the charm. Maid service was provided for towels and beds. Drinking water was provided daily. Perfect for the provided teapot and kettle. The included breakfast was greatly appreciated.

Central location - but dated hotel
This is a dated hotel but provides a reasonable place to sleep near the centre of London. I would not re book due to being outdated, minimal comfort and showers were just a trickle.

Highly recommend for the value!
Great location, close to public transport, close to so many awesome neighborhoods, easy access to the top sights. Very helpful and available staff. We stayed in an apartment separate from the reception building, but just a few steps away, and had access to all amenities and service. Many tasty restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Many problems
We checked out an hour after we checked in, just couldn’t stay there. Our room was on the 3rd floor, meaning up four flights, and there was no elevator. The stairs are narrow, worn, and with small steps. Lugging our luggage up was quite difficult, and we both tripped and narrowly avoided a bad fall. The room itself was small with twin beds ( even though we booked a double bed), and there was no WiFi in the room, only in the stairwell and tiny lobby. That was the final straw for us as we had business to tend to which required WiFi. The location is good, and the receptionist Farouk provided excellent service, but this hotel was a horrible choice for us. Others may find it economical and satisfactory if the stairs and lack of WiFi in the rooms is not an issue.

Great location, good value & clean.
Warm welcome and all staff were smiling and pleasant. Our room and breakfast area were spotlessly clean. Full English breakfast or vegetarian equivalent available, served promptly and food was freshly cooked and hot. Our room was at the back so no traffic noise. The carpet did have old marks on it but it was clean. Not a de luxe / glossy hotel but this is reflected in the price. An easy stroll to Tottenham Court tube and we walked slowly to Trafalgar Square in 20 minutes.

Decent hotel . Great location. Reasonable rate
Excellent location . Hotel room very small . The bathroom was decent for Europe standards . No elevator . Very hard when you have a big luggage . The frond dest was nice enough to help to carrying to second floors otherwise we was never make it . ( aroud atleast 30 steps or more ) . I think this is the most reasonable rate hotel in central london you can find . We're very happy with the location not sure come back .
