Comfortable Stay
We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for our trip. We had 2 nights in Paris and wanted to stay in a good location but not spend a fortune. The location of Mije was in the heart of Marais, close to Metro stops and minutes from Notre Dame. The room was super spacious. We had a private room as there were four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). The room had 4 single beds and a private shower and toilet. It was perfect. Breakfast was basic, an assortment of bread, yogurt, cereal and apple sauce. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

It was a good stay. Nevertheless, the room was not isolated at all. I could hear noises from the other rooms and for the outside.

Everything about the facility is great. It’s simple, clean, and in a great location for the price. I had a single room which was perfect for me. The staff were nice and helpful. But do believe the reviews when they say it can get rowdy and loud at night (or perhaps it was just the guest that day), aside from that it was a great stay. Would love to come back in future visits.

We stayed 2 nights in this hostel and enjoyed it for the great central location. The room was clean but the lack of airconditioning was a big negative in mid-August in Paris. Otherwise fine.

OK for a short visit
The rooms were clean, but the dormitory with four beds had only one single outlet (including the bathroom), that's why I almost couldn't charge my phone for the next day. The staff members were friendly, though not everyone of them were fluent in English.

Totally absurd that they give you an address, you arrive and they send you to another address. I was tired, walking for hours before and with so little phone battery and then I had to walk more again. This is 2024, why you have still that awful system? Is not possible to send a e-mail with the right address? Ps: There is not WI-FI at all!!!!

The property was as nice as could be for a hostel, but I was not aware that it was a hostel when I booked it. E185 for one night was higher than I expected for a hostel; glad we got our own room, but we had to share the bathroom. Staff were very nice though, and because both my teens were sick (daughter had a very high fever), the staff let me bring her tea and toast which I knew was normally not permitted. I am grateful for that. And grateful that they had late check in.

Hôtel particulier du Marsis pour tous
La MIJI dans l’ancien hôtel particulier de la rue Fauconnier est une trouvaille. À recommander. Mes critiques sur 2 points: Envoyer la confirmation de l’établissement auquel on est attribué très vite et non pas la veille de l’arrivée. Surtout pour und 1ère réservation. Veiller à un nettoyage plus pro + plus méticuleux de la salle de bains/douche. Cela évite le vieillissement des sanitaires et constitue la véritable carte de visite de l’établissement. Surtout pour des résa de chambre individuelle.

Quartos compartilhados, simples, limpos e confortáveis. Não parece hostel, pois é um ambiente muito silencioso e sem as diversões que os hostels oferecem. A localização é excelente. Para quem quer pagar pouco, é ideal.
