We didn't expect any onsen or public bath before we checked in. It is a surprise to us that this hotel comes with a real onsen, even with indoor and outdoor! Hotel is right next to the Takeo Onsen station. A+ location. Free breakfast included which is out of my expectation too. So far we had a pleasant stay here. Value for money.

It was very nice to stay in Central Hotel. A reception lady intern who help me to make a ferry and shuttle bus reservation for my next trip. Thanks for her help to let me have a good tour in next day.

Overall experience was more than decent. That being said, some less-common areas in the bathroom (e.g. the area beneath the sink was quite dirty, all black) and the television seems to be too small and old for the price tag I have paid compared to other hotels.

We booked this hotel as part of our honeymoon trip. The hotel welcomed and congrated us warmly. They also leave us a small gift and note in our room according to that, that's very sweet! The room itself is not big, but is rather clean and comfortable. We can see the city and the mountain from our window. The onsen area is very tidy and clean as well. I We enjoyed our bath there. The free breakfast provided is not bad. Free parking is also available just outside the hotel.

Tiny room
I like that the hotel is next to the train station. That’s the only plus I can see. The room is too small and good for one person. My husband and I were bumping each other and we don’t know where to put the luggage to open it. Breakfast time is by schedule. You will be provided a breakfast time, and sorry if you missed your time slot.

Breakfast was the best yet and staff were great and position is near the rail, but their rooms have outdated bathroom modules which have a high step in and out. These were new ideas 20 years ago but i was 20 yrs younger then and despite the warning sign designed to limit liability the had no grab bars which would have helped getting in and out. At 70 i consider myself reasonably agile but i still managed to pull my achilles tendon and will now have to reduce my activity over the last couple of weeks of my holiday. These bathrooms are not suitable for older tourists or thouse with restricted abilities.
