Basic
The term you pay is what you get genuinely fit this hotel! Struggled to check in after 9:30 beds and pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast basic. Most hotels where booked so process of illumination ended up here!

I always stay at Residenz Eurostar when I am in Düsseldorf - very familiar and cosy. There is a Rewe supermarket nearby, conveniently!

Good value
Nice hotel. From the outside, it doesn’t look very nice, but my room was fine. Elevator was helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. Next to a bus stop for easy trip to center city or train station.

We stayed for 2 nights on the 5th floor. Enjoyable stay as we’d been doing hostels most of our trip. Breakfast was amazing!! Staff were friendly.

This small hotel is not the Ritz-Carlton, BUT - if you want a really decent night's sleep in a VERY CLEAN bed in a nice room with a REALLY clean bathroom at a very reasonable price, this is the place. We stayed at this hotel on two different occasions this spring, and if we ever had occasion to come to Duesseldorf again, this is the place we would definitely stay again.

Good value for the price
Located in a residential area so free parking was available but hard to come by if arriving late at night. I used the secured parking twice. The Hotel is located in the city so it was a good location for me to use as a base for sight seeing both Dusseldorf & Koln areas. I would stay there again if I'm in the area.

Needed somewhere cheap to stay in Dusseldorf while visiting the university and this was the best option. Needed a little walk from public transport, but otherwise fine, especially for the price!

Convenient for low cost travelers
I was looking for a reasonably priced stay in Dusseldorf during the crazy fair days in October, so this was not a bad choice compared to the crazy prices at that time.

Bad Hotel and cheating manager
I booked the hotel from the website Hotels.com with rate 30 Euro for one night by my Master Card, when I asked to extend with the same rate the receptionist confirmed yes will be with the same rate, but after staying another 2 days and after back from work I found a recipt at my room with different rate charge and in addition the hotel manager take the money from my master card without a permission from me that mean the hotel untrused with the guest either with the current rate and with the confidential date which provided by the system to use it as he can for example "the master card"
I can't recommend this hotel for anyone who want to stay in as the manager cheating the guest and take their money from the master or visa card without any permission, and he can do it even after you leave the hotel in addition his behaviour not good with guest.

Needs improvement. Ok for a 1 night stop
Spent 4 nights here. Severely disappointed in the hotel. Breakfast was shocking. Rooms were ill equipped. No coffee making facilities in the room. Mould in the shower. The pillows (if you can call them that) we're absolutely shocking and barely usable. The the hotel itself was extremely noisey as the corridors are all bare. Cleaner comes round early and knocks you out of bed. They knock then try to enter the room 3 seconds later!! The hotel will charge you 8 euros a night for parking however there is parking just at the hotel front door which is free. We just parked on the grass with no issues. All in all. Would I stay here again? Only if I was desperate and it was for a one night stop over. Definitely not a hotel to feel comfortable in.
