Been visiting the diff Marriott group hotels in the world, this place is mostdisappointing.
Firstly my check in took quite a long while about at least 10-15mins wait with no pax in queue as there was only 2 counters in operation at the lobby. I was a Marriott Bonvoy member, but the priority lane was not effective. After entering the hotel room, found the toilet to be covered in thick dust. Housekeeper came and couldn’t comprehend why. He did one round of cleaning but still found more dust at other area in the toilet. I had to call housekeeping another time and left to go out. After returning, still found the toilet not clean up proper after. Locker was not working. Housekeeper assisted to change the whole locker.
Shower room wall was dusty too, so can imagine standing in yucky dusty water when the shower water washed the dust off the wall.
We went to the lounge to have some cocktail and whisky. But bartender was obviously not interested in making the drinks. Drinks were subpar. Starbucks Reserve in Tianjin served better and cheaper cocktail.
Morning Buffet was in a mess. Waitress gave away our table to another group of pax and the cafe was not cleaned up promptly, hence we had to wait for an empty table with food on our hand. Asked for earl grey tea, but after a super long wait, I was given sweet red tea. Tried to change, but the waitresses don’t seem like they understood what is earl grey tea even thou I spoke in mandarin.
Concierge service was good. Helpful staff.
