We had the most unreal stay and are already planning on going back again. Atmosphere was amazing and the staff were superb.

This property was really beautiful and the staff were so kind! Unfortunately as it's an older building, there is no lift to the rooms so it probably won't be accessible to people with mobility challenges.

Staff excellent
Staff were excellent, room was not ready but they give a complimentary drink while we waited which was nice. Bed was excellent a good size and bathroom very good. My only complaint was that although our room (no 3) had a window looking out on the main square, the inner opened but the outer window was old and seized closed. This was a very hot night and no AC so the room was stifling hot so not a good nights sleep.

Room ok bed was comfy. Just stayed 1night. Unfortunately there was a leaving do. Normally closes at 11 pm but went in till 2am. Not ideal
The flushing of other rooms toilets and showers could be heard in our room ( 4 ) needs to be a bit more sound proof
Meal we had was lovely Host very nice
Town very quiet. Was just a night away from everything for a rest.

Room really good value for money for price paid . Advertised as breakfast available on hotels.com. Definitely not . In the cafe a few doors down . Really noisy due to a leaving party till half 2 in the morning . Would be good to have a box or something to put keys in on departure, we ended up putting ours in the room door so they didn’t get lost .

The pub family couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and generous. I had all sorts of car troubles and they went out of their way to be helpful. Thanks ever so much.

Excellent Stay Yet Again
Check in was smooth and welcoming. There was plenty of choice for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful, hot and served right on time. The room we had was room 6. It was a little dark and the sloping roof was no problem to us but tall people will bang their heads. There were a few dog treats on the carpet which we just picked up and threw in the bin. There was plenty of tea and coffee, the towels were lovely and fluffy and the bed extremely comfortable. It was our second time staying and we will return again.

Excellent couple of days. Enjoyed evening meal in the bar both nights. Bed was comfortable. We ran out of milk and forgot to ask, but otherwise happy.
