The resort is in a really nice area and we had the use of a great beach to ourselves daily. The grounds and pools are just beautiful and the amenities are also nice. We had a very clean room with a great view...though the shower water NEVER got hot the entire time we were at the resort. Also, the hotel room hair dryer was broken; we turned it in at the front desk on Day 1. Each day when we called to check the status, we were told a working dryer would be delivered within minutes. We NEVER received a working hair dryer, sadly. :( That was a big downer for a gal with thick hair that takes forever to air dry. Wish the front desk would have just been honest with us instead of leading us to believe that we would get a new dryer in "minutes." Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend the LaVista Resort.

We were very impressed with the clean and large room. View was amazing as soon as we opened the door, all staff friendly and welcoming. We usually stay at big resorts but la vista beach was so much better! Quiet, safe and everything we wanted.
