If you are reading this review look no further for a perfect place to stay in Trastevere. What a fantastic hotel. A huge room, excellent amenities, amazingly helpful staff (thank you, Jessica for all your advice), and a location that is second to none. 20 minutes or so walking distance to all the main attractions, but you are staying away from the tourist traps and in a neighborhood that is overflowing with great restaurants, stores, and cozy Roman vibe. Special shout out to Da Enzo”s restaurant, the best meal we had during our stay, and literally steps away from the hotel. In short, the perfect place for a perfect stay.

We had a really amazing stay here! The location is perfect and the unit is great. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was a huge plus for our family. The only thing I would caution people about is there is no elevator so the first floor is the best if you have a lot of luggage.

Couldn't hope for a better location--all the old city charm bit a short, scenic walk to Rome's tourisr sites and energy. Lots of friendljy, good food steps away. Not a "luxury palace" but serviceable and fairly priced.. No elevator, if you need one.

With only a few reviews, I was wary of booking here despite the high scores. But we lucked out, the Effe exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very comfortable (esp beds), clean, and up to date. Despite being in noisy Trastevere, it was very quiet at night. Location was outstanding, within easy reach of every major Rome sight. Would definitely stay here again.

Luxury is a big stretch

Nice location, but the rooftop terrace wasn’t very inviting. Sound travelled quite easily from the hallway into the room, which made it less relaxing. A bit surprising that it’s called a bed & breakfast in some places, especially since no breakfast is included. Also, calling it a “luxury palace” is a big stretch.

We loved our stay here! The location is safe and quiet, but close to all conveniences such as amazing restaurants, beautiful streets and piazzas. My family of 4 stayed in the deluxe suite which had two rooms ( 1 king bed and 1 queen) and 2 washrooms. Lots of closet space and large windows. Exactly as advertised and pictures shown on their website. Room was very clean, comfortable and modern. Location is perfect within 15-20 mins walk to most of the tourist sites and in the Trastevere district. Lots of Restaurants steps away. The staff were amazing. Jessica was fantastic!!! I would fully recommend Effe Luxury Palace to anyone looking to stay in the centre but yet quiet and peaceful.

Le quartier est vraiment sympa, ce n’est pas trop touristique et il y beaucoup de bar et resto intéressants on se sent un peu comme des locaux! La chambre est bien, lit confortable serviette et nécessaire de toilette présent, pour un séjour de 2-3 jours c’est bien. Cependant un petit bémol sur le service qui est moyen, j’ai demandé un oreiller supplémentaire, on m’a dit oui et jamais amené. On a eu que 2 capsules de café le premier jour seulement, mais la femme de ménage est venue faire le lit et n’a pas remis de café. Aussi un peu de peinture serait nécessaire pour la salle de bain, beaucoup de moisissures. Nous étions au 3e étage, les marches sont hautes et c’est 6 paliers, donc personnes avec problèmes physiques s’abstenir!
