Perfect nice hotel in a good location. If you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room as the stairs are steep and twisty!! Breakfast was nice.

The hotel was amazing from start to finish, answered all my questions on line promptly check in was great we arrived early and it wasn't a problem room was spotless requested a fan which was in the room when we arrived. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was a great variety. We stayed in a family room which gave us a double room a small corridor still attached to this room bathroom then another bedroom with two single beds recommend this hotel to any one.

Old property so be prepared for squeaking floors and other noises, well worth a stay. Riverside walks and lots of pubs. Man of Ross worth a visit.

Charming and quirky hotel with good food.

We really enjoyed our three days here. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel is charming and quirky. The weather was very hot, so the addition of two sturdy portable fans was very welcome. We were in a lovely attic conversion and could see the countryside around for miles. Although we were at the top of the building, the water pressure was good and we could all have showers to cool off without any problems - plenty of hot water, too - and the toiletries smelled gorgeous. Breakfast cooked to order with fresh local produce and plenty of choice. Even though the hotel seemed fairly full there was no delay at all, but we never felt rushed or hurried either. We were lucky enough to be able to leave our car in the hotel car park throughout our stay - parking is limited, but we could see a public car park nearby - as there are good bus services to the neighbouring towns we wished to visit (Hereford and Monmouth). A really good short break.
