DO NOT STAY HERE

The only positive was the location which was ok. 15 minute walk to ponte vecchio. The description was false. It was advertised as having a pool - there was not one it was next door in a luxury spa, it said we had a kitchen this was shared with another couple, not explained on check in, it said you had a washer dryer - this was outside in the garden and the dryer was dangerous to use. It was advertised as having a gym, when we asked about this the girl in charge she did not know what we were talking about, when we sent an email expressing our concerns, we were told there was a gym on the ground floor and could be used for a fee.we still couldn't find it. This places is an out and out lie and I don't think expedia should offer it.

Beware when dealing with this property.

I arrived for 10 days in Florence on a confirmed booking, or so I thought. The manager denied any knowledge of my booking, due she says to an inability to access bookings, and despite numerous emails. She seemed to fix this up in a matter of hours!!. She found me a room in a hostel type hotel and undertook to show me another place. I thought this would be for my approval, but no, my card was immediately charged without any approval of the replacement room. The replacement was a room, not a suite with separate kitchen as ordered and confirmed. No apologies (until requested), no refund for a lower type of accomodation. All that was offered was a range of self serving excuses.it was everyone's fault except hers. Do not use this property unless you exercise a lot of care.
