8/10 Very good

Great location and nice room, especially for the price. Unique and historic building. Staff was very helpful. Not recommended for people who have trouble with stairs.

8/10 Very good

Nice for solo travellers

So the room was as expected, but there was no towels, so i asked at the front desk and they had one towel left i could borrow. Beside the minor towel thing then everything else was nice and the pictures represent the room nicely.

8/10 Very good

Place and location is more than great but even backpacking going upstairs and downstairs was a nightmare. Place was OK but the room carpet was wet and full of spots, overall a 8/10 :)
Samantha, 1-night trip

Good location but poor service and cleaning. Nice staff though.
Husayin, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Poor bathroom, but cute cat in the reception

The water lock in the shower was missing, sewage smell from the shower drain (fixed by covering the drain with a wet face mask ;-) ) The neighbor in next room was snoring like lumber mill

6/10 Good

Very typical small Amsterdam hotel across from the Heineken Brewery. Good location for investigating Albert Cuypstraat market (which you should!). There’s a very good brown bar on the corner downstairs. Rooms very small and TV channels are practically non-existent but staff are friendly and it’s fine for a short stay, which mine was. No complaints.

Cindy, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Small room, but clean. Its at the busy place in the city centre, a lot of traffic during the day. Over all I liked the place. Not too expensive.
Sior, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The rooms downstairs and smell of exhaust from the windows
Charity, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This is a two-star hotel and it would be unfair to expect any kind of luxury for the price I paid in a major European capital city. The floor of my room wasn't even, which meant that one side of the bed was slightly higher than the other and the window was propped open by the TV remote control when I arrived. The bed was immediately next to the window, so it was draughty with the window open, but too hot with the window closed, and light got through underneath the curtains. As I say, for the price I paid, I have no complaints and I was only staying one night (which is one of the reasons I decided to go cheap). I wouldn't have wanted to stay for any length of time though, as the lack of sleep would have had a negative effect on my enjoyment of the city.
