Place was very nice, clean and confortable. It was confusing to find the right address but once you are in the right door you must ring the bell for the Hotel to het the door open. It is at the 4th floor and there is not an elevator. Is the only down side, otherwise the breakfast was the surrounding are excellent. You have easy access to any thing: shopping, restaurants, terminal, transportation.

Location was great -5 min from all the sights. B&B is up 64 steps so be aware with the suitcase. Rooms are clean and large compared to Italian rooms. Breakfast is continental. And staff are very friendly and helpful.

Close to all you want to see

Our stay was great the room was very clean and the breakfast was good. The only thing was the 4 flights of stairs we had to climb but besides that the place was in a great location. It is close to the local markets and all of the sites tourist want to see when in Florence.

Great location, despite the major infrastructure project going on out in front of the hotel (looks like sewer replacement). Hotel owners/staff were lovely and very helpful, including transporting of luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs (Yes, no "lift" in this hotel!). Ample breakfast, very clean, and gorgeous view of the Duomo from the rooftop terrace!

Excellent location, friendly staff, within walking distance of most historical sites, great restaurants nearby. Staff kindly left us a bottle of champagne for our 40th wedding anniversary. Downside was no lift at property, our room was on top floor and it was a bit of a climb after a long day out and about.

Be forewarned that you have to walk up 69 steps to reach the B&B. No elevator, no porter. The parking was quoted at 21 euros per 24 hours. We were there 36 hours and was charged 76 euros.

This property fit our needs as it was within walking distance to the Duomo and other sites. The breakfast was nice and adequate. We loved the view from the rooftop. Our room was clean and comfy. The service was good and he even carried our luggage up/downstairs for us. Overall satisfied. Only recommendations is they need new pillows as they were really flat and if you don’t like stairs there is no lift like most buildings in Italy.

This small hotel is in a perfect location for walking to major attractions of Florence and it is just 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. We were able to leave our bags in a locked area for most of our last day in the city. This was very convenient.

Staff here are very friendly and welcoming. They will do everything to make your stay comfortable, just have to ask! The rooms are on the 4th floor and there are no elevators so be prepared to work those calves! Breakfast was stocked with a variety of pastries and you can get your espresso or cappuccino made to order. Rooms were clean and comfortable and it is centrally located in Florence. Most attractions (e.g., Uffizi, Academia) are just a brief 15 mins walk. Will definitely return to this B&B for our future visit!

The staff were very friendly and the history of the building was what drew us to stay at this B&B. It is also in a very good location with the Mercato Centrale and duomo close by. The wifi was not great in our room- not allowing us to connect at all and unable to find someone to help us after hours. It can be a bit noisy at night with the nightlife of Florence and I could hear also the guests next door using the toilette while laying in bed. I would keep it mind that the building is on the 4th floor with no elevator, but the staff are very helpful with carrying your bags if required.
