I should have paid attention to the reviews talking about the lack of hot water. I gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt that it would be fixed. The first 4 nights of my stay I had luke warm showers, at best. I dealt with it. The following morning, I woke up with NO hot water at all. NONE.
When I spoke to the front desk staff the morning after I arrived, I was told the plumber was on site working on it. There was no plumber vehicle on site and I was later told from another staff member, there wasn't a plumber on site. When I asked about there being NO hot water I was told that the plumber messed up the day before and would be back at 7 a.m. and the manager would be in at 8 a.m. I expressed my frustration and asked for the manager to call me. At 9 am, no manager and no plumber. Again, I was assured the manager would call me. At 10 a.m. I finally checked out a day early and was promised the manager would call me to discuss my stay. I never got a call.
The staff clearly just tells guests what they want to hear, even if there's no truth to it.
Also, this is a new hotel but is in bad shape. One elevator is out of order. The other elevator doesn't work right - I was told I needed to push the door open button if I want it to open when it stopped at my floor. Otherwise it would keep going.
Trust me when I say, there are FAR better options in this area. DO NOT stay here. The building is in bad shape, the front desk staff lies and the manager doesn't care about what's going on
