I booked a stay through Hotels.com for last night, as I was arriving after the regular check-in hours. Following the instructions in my booking confirmation, I contacted the hotel to inquire about their late check-in procedure, which was listed as available. That evening, I received a message from the hotel confirming my stay, along with the room number and door access codes.
However, upon arriving at the hotel and entering the room I had booked, I was shocked to find other people already sleeping there. I immediately double-checked the confirmation details to ensure there wasn’t an error on my part, but the room I was given was indeed the one I had reserved.
I have since messaged the hotel about this issue and have yet to receive any response. I am requesting a full refund for this unacceptable experience.
