Quirky Hotel with Great Location and Helpful Staff
Eclectic and fun hotel walking distance to the Museum Quartier. The staff was very friendly and helpful with great restaurant recommendations. It is a quirky hotel with a carnival theme. Rooftop bar was popular.

Big review
I used a steam bath (sauna was closed to a technical reason). The spa and sport area is on -1 floor. At reception you can get a bathrobe and slippers. Also, you can have a cup of nice tea and bottled water there. However, tap water in Vienna is from Alps. Room was exceptionally clean, the towels were changed each day. They do not provide any vanity-set that was a surprise for me, but you will find a big bottle of organic shampoo, gel and lotion in the room (around 250 ml each). There was also a bag in the room which you can use during you stay and buy later in their shop near the reception if you liked it. In the room there was small paper for notes, a pencil and a dynamic which you can connect using the instructions provided via a QR code (cool). TV: a lot of channels in aGerman language (more than 35), some in English (like CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera etc) and other languages. The only thing we didn’t like was how Christina at reception met us. But she looked very tired and unhappy, so maybe she had some personal reasons. Overall, we had very nice stay!

Nice Sauna area!
Except for a couple of little glitches, one being we were kept awake by loud banging on the ceiling until 2am the night before we left, even after complaining to reception, which made no difference! Second thing is we were charged €24 for taking shower gel, .. Ridiculous since we only had carry on luggage on the plane.. as if it would have got through security! Yep, obviously staff were mistaken, same as charging us for cola, From the fridge, which we Don’t drink! Staff were lovely, Sara was especially helpful... think the themed circus idea is OK, but nothing to write home about, it’s just a ploy to cover up the old walls, Last thing, Hotel should reconsider the free plastic bottled water In The sauna area, it’s unnecessary with a tap and drinking glasses.. your hotel is supposed to be about the environment after all!

Welcoming staff was great, the room was amazing. Overall the hotel has a very eclectic feel too it. Max at the desk booked us a very nice traditional meal for our last evening in Vienna. We did have one negative thing happen to us. When we checked in we were told about the different restaurants they had, I asked if there was dress code for any or if we needed reservations and we were told no, come as you are and no reservations. That sounded great to us because we traveled all day and were exhausted. We started at the rooftop bar which has the best views of Vienna and great cocktails. The service there was very attentive and extremely pleasant and welcoming. We then went downstairs to the Italian restaurant to eat dinner. We stood up front until someone came over to us. He asked if we had a reservation, we sad no, and then he just simply shook his head. I explained to him how we were told that we didn’t need a reservation and he said “Why would you not need a reservation we are a restaurant.” Then he wanted to know who told us this, and I explained the gentleman at the front desk. To which he stormed off to the front desk and scolded the man in front of us.... I’ve never seen anything like it. We were so uncomfortable. We would of made a reservation for the restaurant if we knew we had too, our intentions were not to make someones job more difficult. How it was handled was very embarrassing for all involved. If not for that one experience, We would of scored higher
