This was our second stay at The Hotel Embassy, we were not disappointed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and welcoming. A good choice for breakfast plus being within walking distance of major attractions. We look forward to going back again. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel to others, it deserves 5* rating.

The staff were really helpful and we even got a room upgrade. Great location and walking distance to everything. It is right beside the train station but there are some people that hangout by the train station in the evening which may be intimating to travellers but they kept themselves to themselves. Would recommend it for a clean, basic stay in a central location

6/10 Good

We were there three nights. 1st night electrical issue meaning the emergency lights came on in the bedroom several times waking us up. Night 2! Major yea water outside the hotel meaning that diggers and compactors were shaking the hotel! Night 3! A staff member set off a door alarm at midnight that woke us up wondering if we needed to leave the hotel! I’m sure these things were just an unfortunate sequence of events but you know the water main issue the Hotel has no control over. The other two they did! Just don’t need it when you spend good money and having long days sightseeing. That said apart from the above the hotel is well positioned with friendly staff, sleep tight!

We had a fabulous stay. The hotel is amazing b a superb location. Very, very close to both the train station and the tram stop for the airport. The staff were very helpful and made some great recommendations for restaurants. We were also able to leave luggage at the hotel before and after check in and check out. Will definitely stay at the Hotel Embassy again

Hotel was nice and traditional. Clean and convenient for the city centre. Only hotel that we stayed in that had AC cool enough! One of the front desk staff was amazing. He gave us huge glasses of ice, advice on restaurants, lots of other tips and packed us some breakfast when we had to leave at 4:00am. Wish I knew his name … I hope this reaches the hotel and the front desk staff.

8/10 Very good

Walkable location from the train station. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but the air conditioning was not working enough. We were unable to get an additional pillow, and it was difficult to obtain extra toilet paper. There were also no tissues provided in the room. For a 4-star hotel, I was disappointed.
