Last Customer Standing
Hotel was closing due to Govt guidelines. Staff were very professional and I felt so much effort had gone into ensuring staff and customer safety due to Covid-19 controls not was a shame to be closing. I still have to travel to Devon weekly due to working on an essential supply chain business and would have felt extremely safe at Hotel Du Vin. Hope to see you guys again very soon. Peter

Overnight wedding stay
We stayed here for a family wedding in Exeter. Lovely hotel, well situated. All staff extremely helpful and accommodating. We had an issue with one of the rooms that I had booked as it had an over bath shower which my mother in law wasn't able to access, the room was changed immediately to a disabled access room with wet room. Thank you x

amazing hotel
Absolutely loved everything about the hotel we had an amazing studio on the top floor with balconies all round looking out over the city! Breakfast was amazing too! We didn’t get chance to visit the spa but fully intend to return in the summer with better weather! Storm Dennis didn’t help our rather wet stay! But the hotel was awesome as were the lovely staff especially Rachel on reception! Thankyou for a great stay

Fair 4.0
Dissappointing
On arrival we couldn't turn room temp down it was so hot, air con didn't work, left windows open, noisy traffic, drunken people outside making noise outside till around 3am (could be by the extra car park where there is a hostel) bed was uncomfortable. Nepresso machine was not working properly. Breakfast was lovely although we had to move tables as you couldn't see properly as the sun was so bright, lots of people were trying to move aswell, a few blinds that work properly would be a good idea as its a nice space, when the room was serviced the one flannel was replaced, there were 2 of us! The complimentary toiletries and water was not replaced, I advised reception about heating prob, missing replenishments, machine etc. and asked if we could have some feedback, returned later to see the cleaners had been back in, as the evening approached we were very tired, the heating started to kick in even though the radiators were still turned right down, we packed up and came home, just couldnt face another sleepless night, the receptionist seemed surprised we were checking out a night early, the previous receptionist had clearly not bothered to do a handover or follow up on room issues, we were too tired to go into again, when taking bags to the car park (additional car park as we could not get a space at the hotel despite trying to book one several weeks before) it looked like someone had been turned away from the hostel and was being very agressive, glad my partner was with me.

Good weekend venue
Good, but rooms not quite as good as others in the chain, we had a Superior room which was quite small for the premium... Great breakfast (service a little slow as was a busy Sunday morning); overall not bad... just a little underwhelmed
