Everything was in order here. Started in a room I hadnt ordered through some small confusion but they movied me to the correct room without any problem the very next evening. Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms stunning. Quaint backyard to enjoy the afternoon. Very close to Museums, Vondelpark, and the Leidesplein. I'd definitely come back.

The hotel location is perfect! Conveniently located a few blocks away from the busy main streets so it is quieter in the evenings but easy to walk to metro stops, restaurants, and shopping. We've stayed here when it first opened and returned about 10 years later and whilst it is still a lovely place in a super area, there are some obvious signs of wear from the past decade. We have been on the Lower ground floor and the top floor and both beds were super comfortable. The room was a bit cool when we arrived (19degrees) so a touch on the fresher side but likely down to the very high ceiling in the attic. There was oodle of scorcho hot water for a long shower or soak and the breakfast was simple but varied and tasty. Would very happily stay again and the area is lovely and quiet but not too far off the beaten path in an upmarket neighbourhood.

We loved Hotel Roemer. Great room. Great staff. Great location. Excellent bed. Our room needed some minor maintenance: sink had mineral buildup, reading lamp was loose on wall and needed a new bulb, crack in wall. Minor things. We still recommend highly.
