Great family friendly setup. The pool has been nicely refurbished, perfect temperature and good jacuzzi/steam room. Breakfast options were delicious and both adults and children enjoyed the menu options. Room was spacious and the ‘zed’ beds were fine for children. Our dog had a nice bed and treat pack upon arrival. Looking ahead to when to book again!

Fantastic stay, our second stay at Fowey Hall and would stay a third time! A shame that our visit this time coincided with some renovation work however the staff were very helpful in minimising the impact of this on us.

The staff was excellent and did as much to make our stay enjoyable. However the housekeeping and maintenance of the bedrooms could have been better with broken glass found and dust found in the bathroom and the handle to the door of the bathroom missing one screw.

Wonderful stay at Fowey Hall
We had a lovely 2-night stay here with our two children. The hotel is certainly family-friendly, with many little gestures for young ones, such as daily storytime with milk and a biscuit and indoor and outdoor activities. The Four Bears Den is an amazing nursery space filled with happiness that is not possible without the wonderful people who work there. It is also great for adults, with comfortable communal areas, good sized rooms, spa and a great breakfast. We will almost definitely be back!

Beautiful property even though during major renovations did not affect the inside. Room was enormous, fantastic shower. Staff were very helpful. I would come back and stay again. The only downside was the evening meal, very tiny for the price which I raised with the Restaurant Manager at breakfast.

Highly recommended! This hotel is well suited to parents with children of all ages! Our two year old enjoyed playing with all of the toys in the Four Bears Den as well as the games room. The 5pm story time with cookies and milk and the cinema room was always a nice way to end the day. The hotel also has a great indoor pool though it is slightly on the cold side compared to a normal kid's pool, but I don't think it is worth being overly concerned about this. The staff and service is excellent! We made use of the warm milk delivery to our room each night and every member of staff was warm and welcoming and I want to give a special shout-out to Diane who took care of us during breakfast. My family and I would happily stay at Fowey Hall hotel again!

Our family trip to Cornwall was made absolutely perfect by our stay at this hotel! From the moment we walked in, the staff's warm welcome made us feel right at home. The room they provided was not only spacious and beautifully decorated but also impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our family. The kids loved the pool, and we appreciated the fitness center for some relaxation time. The on-site restaurant offered a wide range of delicious meals that even our picky eaters enjoyed. Plus, the hotel's central location made it easy to explore all the wonderful attractions Cornwall has to offer. I can't praise this hotel enough for its exceptional service, family-friendly amenities, and prime location. It truly made our family trip memorable, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Cornwall.

We booked this hotel as a spa break but the spa was closed as were the swimming pool changing rooms and the gym. So actually not correctly advertised.

Once building works over will be an amazing hotel
Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Welcoming for our dog, doggie bed, bowls, treats all provided as a nice surprise, doggie menu in restaurant:) Highlight foodwise was the breakfast - amazing. We had dinner also, although dogs not allowed in main dining area so eat in bar or outside. Hopefully a very temporary issue is building works; spa and pool closed, tile cutting and clouds of dust even on a Sunday, unsightly building site. Once this is finished hotel will be amazing. To be fair to the hotel the staff did inform us before our stay, but perhaps not to the full extent. Hotels.com had no information about this.

This hotel is amazing and I have stayed there 3 times now, I just never would have booked if I knew about the extensive building work. I see some reviewers have said this work did not affect their stay, it did ours as we were living in hotel room in court yard so had to walk past diggers and workmen all the time. It is noisy and busy with no spa facilities due to the work. Although I love the hotel, Expedia did not mention the building work which I think is unfair. Bet the hotel will be amazing when the work is done.

We had to change rooms due to a very loud bathroom extractor fan being on 24x7. The staff were excellent in resolving and moved us to a nice suite, however it was a disruption having to move, we did prefer the original room (except for the fan noise), and it isn’t very environmentally friendly having a fan that is constantly on.. otherwise it’s a really nice hotel, all of the staff are very friendly, great location, very very nice

A hotel to enjoy in the beautiful Fowey
This place is incredible. The staff were amazing. Our kids, who are sometimes quite shy around strangers, instantly clicked with the friendly staff at reception and loved chatting to them each day. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury for the parents and fun for the kids. We used the pool which had great changing facilities, a great view and was very quiet. The bedroom was the nicest room we have ever stayed in, with a sea view and beautiful decor. We were greeted each morning by Diane at breakfast who was lovely and really interacted with the kids. She also gave us some tips of where to go each day. The breakfast was Both delicious and plentiful. Both evenings were spent at the hotel restaurant, we intended on going into town, but the food the first night was so good that we didn't bother in the end. The kids loved the play area and we loved drinks in the sun on the patio watching the boats. We will definitely be coming back.

Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time. The rabbit feeding was also really lovely. Only complaint really is the restaurant. Breakfast is good but dinner/lunch has the same menu and if you’re staying for 3 nights it’s quite limited and honestly not the best. The fish and chips were good but the gnocchi and salads were very blah. We went out for dinner one evening as we couldn’t face the same average food. Maybe change up the menu every other night to encourage ppl to eat there more as everything is in the hotel and the kids just love running around. Also, have some outsiders try the food and give honest opinions… for a luxury hotel you’d expect better food. Other than that, it’s perfect and we would come back in a heartbeat, just probably would avoid eating dinner there unless it changes.
