Bait & Switch Scam
The hotel did a bait and switch with our room reservation. Paid for premium room with sea view and was told at check-in that there was none available but for an extra charge we can have a room with a sea view in the main bldg and have access to premium services. (Approx $250 extra in upgrade costs)! Then to find out we only had hamburgers and hot dogs available during the day “due to it being low season”. Drinks were good and hotel was nice and clean. Pools were decent but their money scam made me mad. The historic center of town was a 20 minute walk. Cool little center with a variety of restaurants which we went to to get away from eating another cheeseburger for lunch.
