Very good 8.0
The location is great, less than a 10 min walk to the train station and a 5 min walk to the Duomo and the historic center. Plenty of restaurants and museums within easy reach, no need for a car. The hotel is clean, the rooms are decent size, although not as nice as the pictures available online. Not the most comfortable beds. Breakfast was included and the lady in charge of setting it up was really friendly and pleasant host.

Concerned with fire?
We had a very difficult time finding our rooms. We had to go up one elevator, walk through a room and them go up another elevator. Rooms 58 and 60. It felt like a fire-trap. We only stayed one night. When we opened the bathroom door it was couldn't open fully since it hit the bed.

Best location
Great location. The shower was a pretty tight squeeze. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast is fine.

Bad experience, too expensive for what it is.
The only good thing was the location, other than than, the beds were terrible for a couples, room look old a d cold, the shower was so small and anconfortable, almost dangerous to get in and out, room was hard to find,, the worst in my 2 week vacation in Italy

A convenient hotel but bring your own iron
A cute hotel in centre of Florence. Consists of two buildings, I was in the second one so had to walk miles to get there. No wifi or at keast it did not work and no iron and board upon request, which was inconvenient because I had to iron my clothes. Stuff was friendly and the design was held very Italian. Rooms were practical but clean.

Great Location
This hotel is in an excellent location between the train station and Duomo. There is someone at the front desk 24/7 and it is very easy to find and check in. While it is old, it has a cool Florentine charm to it as I had a dining room type set up outside my room so it felt like I was staying in someone's guest room. The only item that bothered me was that although it was air conditioned, I fell asleep with my light on and got a couple mosquito bites, assuming they came in through the window which has no screen even though it was closed. Also, the breakfast selection didn't have much. However, I recommend the hotel for the price and location.
