An amazing stay in a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable with a perfect modern bathroom. The room had a lovey view of the water which was nice to wake up. The room was comfortable but very small. The dining room was very noisy on Saturday evening, being next to the small bar. It needs more soft furnishings to reduce the reverberation from people talking very loudly. Unusual to be given an exact time for breakfast. The signage for which entrance to use to get into the hotel is not obvious when you drive into the car park.

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The carpets throughout the hotel were in desperate need of cleaning. Our room was cold - 13 C outside and the radiator didn’t work. I was glad that they provided hot water bottles. This was in August. Most of the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Great weekend break
We had a lovely weekend at the hotel, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean and tidy with fantastic sea views. We would definitely stay here again. The only dislike we had was having to order breakfast in advance rather than in the morning.

This was for us a ‘ walk down memory lane’ our honeymoon hotel 58 years ago and not only was it still in operation, it was very welcoming. Staff were very helpful with our luggage since there was no lift. So a very pleasant and quiet stay.

So good that we stayed an extra night
This is a lovely hotel and made even better by staying in one of the luxury rooms... with views to take your breath away. We, as all the guests, were made so very welcome by the owners, managers and all the team at this lovely family hotel and restaurant. Everything was what you need for a relaxing break, and we would not hesitate in booking again. The restaurant food was ample and freshly cooked ... and lots of locals there which speaks volumes!
