You can't beat the location and its very affordable especially if you are solo traveler. It seems that room cleaning is in need of a little retraining. I noticed some of the detailing was lacking. The staff are tops and I am especially grateful to Tom and Rick ad they were so helpful and very informative 👍 👏 that is excellent customer service and the reason I will return again. Thank you all.

The staff were brilliant and very attentive to any needs. The rooms are small but the location is very convenient.

Horrible.
Couldn't check in until 3 pm and there was a really long queue of people waiting to do the same thing. Couldn't use the self service machine because I'd booked via hotels.com Room was horrible - like a cell - no window, no kettle. Bed and bedding uncomfortable. Only plus - it was quiet and clean. Would I stay again? No!

Short stay in Edinburgh
Nice stay at the hotel for a few days.. small room with no windows as we had to delay our trip a day late as flight delays, but we’re giving e a room upon arriving early in the morning. Cheap and cheerful enough when you’re out and about for 12+ hours a day.

Needed a place in Edinburgh for one night. It was nice, clean, quiet and small, but very functional. Would stay again.

We enjoyed the convenience of this hotel. But, the ceiling paint was peeling, the carpet in our room was badly stained, and there was no protein for breakfast. We thought the breakfast/bar area was very nice and the staff was great.

Everything was lovely but I booked it as it stated it had onsite parking. We knew we had to pay a surcharge of £15 but there was nowhere to park. I called the hotel and they advised I parked in the NCP. That was far away and ended up costing £35.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is super! The plumbing leaves a lot to be desired and nobody told me at check-in that I had to request my room be cleaned.
