Bags stolen from my room and bad guest service!
Last week I noticed that two bags were missing from my room. It were shopping bags with new purchased brand clothing from the Mall at Millenia. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt, maybe the housekeeper made an awful mistake and thought my bags (with logos from Abercrombie & Fitch and Macy's on it) were trash that she could throw away. Yet I refuse to believe that anymore, because the bags were heavy enough because of the clothing in it and the bags were definitely not in the trash can. I immediately went to the front desk to report this situation. The manager wasn't on duty at that time, but later that day I went back to speak to him. He told me that his staff was trustworthy and that the only incidents he could remember regarding theft in this hotel were the fault of the guests who left their door open. I know for a fact that this was not the case, because the door of our room closed automatically and we always paid attention while closing the door. I asked him to check out the camera footages to see who was responsible for this frustrating situation. Then he told me that only the general manager has access to the camera footages and that he/she was in New York for a couple of days and that he/she would be back on Monday. I've filled in a full report and agreed with them that they will keep me updated. At this moment it is a week ago since my report about the theft from my room. I am back in my country since last Sunday. The general manager should already be

Are you kidding me
I checked in at 230am no problem. At 1030am as i am waking up a maid knocks on my door and asked for my dirty towels. I hand the ones we used to shower before bed to her she throws them on the floor. I ask for the new ones she says oh they come later. What???? I tell her we just woke up and aren't finished Getting ready. She said oh you can get new ones at the front desk if you need them now. I pick up my towels and say never mind we will use these and in HORROR she says but they are dirty. I said not really after one shower and put the do not disturb sign on my door. An hour or so later as we make our way to the front desk there are dirty towels in front of most doors. So gross. I go to the front desk to complain about this and the man at the front desk has the audacity to say I don't know how it works in other hotels but we will bring fresh towels later this afternoon. You don't know how it works in other hotels? REALLY?!?? I travel at least monthly and have never seen towels in piles on the floor. Sunday night when we are coming home from the parks around 1030 at night I see a maid going in and out of rooms one by one delivering towels. There are pothole/grates nearly a foot deep in the middle of the parking lot every few feet The carpets were so filthy my nephews socks were black in 10 min between getting out of the shower and getting to bed

The Gentleman on the desk when I checked in late Feb 1, 2017 was SIuper. That is were the good stuff ends !. The next day I became ill. My stay was for 3 days, which they did not seem to communicate to staff or not realize the name of the person that booked 2 days, then added 1 day, in the same room, same name ... was the same person ?? .. A lady came to my door asking if I was checking out today .. I said no. Then housekeeping came to my door and I told her I didn't need anything done as I was not well today. Finally I get to sleep after a rough night of illness, and I hear someone trying to get in my room.. When I get out of bed and go to the door, there is a lady in staff blue dress and a man with a electric drill trying to take the safety lock you put across when inside .. off. They have the door open as far as it will go with the cross safety lock on . and he is reaching in with the drill trying to take the catch off. They tell me they did that yesterday to fix my coffee pot ! What?? .. I have NO idea why they were trying to get in even now... I felt very unsafe for the rest of my stay and would have moved to another hotel if well enough. Do Not Stay here... Also not the cleanest hotel, but is close to eating places. Untrained staff... I watched people trying to check in when I went down to speak to the manager.. another story??

BED BUGS! STAY AWAY! I've stayed at some less-than-clean hotels over the years but never have I felt obligated to warn people not to stay at one! We read the good reviews on this hotel from expedia and figured, why not, may not be the best but it was only for one night. We were in the room for less than 2 minutes, it was disgusting, it smelled awful, we looked under the sheets at the mattress and found the bed bug 'nests' and a bug!! We left and told the man at the desk, he not only didn't apologize but he didn't seem surprised at all! He said he would put us in a different room, we weren't going to risk bedbugs over it, we just wanted a refund. It's been almost 10 days and still no refund. The manager was extremely unprofessional and rude, never apologized, and then hung up on me. Type in this hotel name and bedbugs into a search online, you'll find a ton of reviews and photos of this place saying the same thing. I'm sceptical of these 5 star reviews, they seem pretty fake now that we've seen the place. TLDR: Bedbugs, dirty disgusting rooms, rude/unprofessional management. Don't risk staying here!

Sad visit to Monumental Hollywood Motel
We entered the room to a musty smell like mildew ... the A/C took care of it. The beds were double beds but not queen which is normal in most hotels with double beds in the room. The mattress itself was thin and you could feel the springs through the mattress. We stayed two nights and room service, when they cleaned, took one of our dirty bath towels, left one bath towel and the floor mat which were both wet. We called down to the front desk when we returned to the room, they said they would send someone up with towels, but they never came. I went down in the morning to the desk to get a towel for my wife and they insisted the cleaning crew had left three towels in the room ... they had not and they sent someone up for my wife ... by the time they brought the towels she had used the dirty towel. I chose this hotel because in the past they had a restaurant/bar that did karaoke on the weekends .. it was always packed on Friday and Saturday nights. Also the bathtub in the room had to be filled by the shower, the faucet in the tub did not work. Apparently, since the last time I was here they sold the restaurant and in the superior wisdom of the new owner dumped the karaoke. The bar was completely empty, in the past it was packed. Guess he hates to make money. This was the first time that I actually stayed in this hotel and I can not recommend it for the reasons that I have just listed. I spoke with some other people staying there and they too were not happy.
