Fair
Iit is an old hotel with the characteristic smell in the corridors. Air conditioning in the lobby minimal and during the month of August was very stuffy. Consiege, not very helpful. However the position of the hotel was great.lots of restaurants and cafes around. I was overall disappointed, I did not get value for the money I spent there.

Exceptional
For me it felt glamorous gorgeous lighting and foyer area grand. Our room was spacious and quiet with a courtyard view. We enjoyed the tea making facilities in room. Location perfect for subway and tourist buses, sights, eateries shopping. Felt safe.

Concierge was great, location was really good. Was disappointed with the quality of the linen compared to what we expected from a Hilton hotel. Restaurant meal magnificent

Ideally located in the centre of Berlin
Fantastic venue and ideally located for all your Berlin adventures, just the tiny minibar fridge limiting any personal items which can be stored (i.e water or fruit) being frustrating - especially the inbuilt sensors so when / if you do remove any hotel issued items to make space, they automatically charge you for it daily until you explain you were making pace in the fridge for your own things! Perhaps a somewhat insignificant ‘issue’ to have, but an inconvenience nevertheless. Also the lack of free WiFi in the rooms. In this modern age we live and for the prices you pay for their rooms, come on Hilton, sort it out! All-in-all though a very nice place to stay and with great service and friendly staff.

Predictably comfortable
This hotel is in a wonderful, safe, clean part of Berlin, and is a fantastic place to base yourself if you're in town to see the sites. The rooms are your stock-standard Hilton affair: if you've stayed in one Hilton, you've stayed in them all. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I'd be lying if I said the rooms didn't need a slight upgrade. That said, the rooms was clean and spacious enough for two of us, and the service was impeccable. Staff at checkin were helpful, and whenever we went into the lobby we were greeted with a smile and welcome/goodbye. The breakfast is a bit on the pricey side, I think 32 euro per person, so if you can get a good deal with it included in your room, I would recommend it. Plenty on offer though, maybe not 32 euro worth, but still a solid offering. But it's hard to criticise when we're told of the price beforehand, and we obliged given the selection on offer. My only gripe is that our room seemed to have a power saving function that would lead to everything -- lights, TV, aircon -- switching off at random. Maybe that's a Germany thing? But we called reception and they were quick to fix that up for us. Overall, the stay at this hotel was calming and comfortable. Given the location and service I really can't recommend it enough.

it's a Hilton, so you know what to expect.
it's a Hilton, so you know what to expect. the same furniture as there is elsewhere, there is nothing in the room that would make you think you were in Berlin. So it's the same brown carpet, etc. But it does mean that there is the same standard as elsewhere. The room was large and clean, the sheets were clean, and the towels fluffy. There is coffee available in the room, no tea bags, and there were no wine glasses or any large glasses if you wanted to have a drink of wine from the Mini bar, only 2 small glasses. The pillows were also too fluffy for our liking, but they were quickly changed for something with neck support, so that was all good. The shower was a hit and miss affair with the water running hot then cold, and then back to hot without you having to touch the knobs. So it meant showering and washing hair as quickly as possible. The pool area was lovely, and so was the bar. A welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Berlin.
