It was close to public transportation, but also only a 15 minute walk through ancient winding streets to the Barcelona Cathedral in the gothic quarter. I loved my stay at this hotel.

The staff did not acknowledge the presence of any guests unless you went right up and asked a question - and the answer was often ‘I don’t know’ or something else similarly unhelpful. Great location but disappointing everything else.
