The hotel is OK, it's owned by a cost cutting company. It has no character, it's purely functional. It is clean, the people working there are doing their best. The breakfast offering is appalling, just the cheapest, nastiest food substitutes, scrambled egg out of a pre-made bag and cheap nasty bread.

Great position a very short walk (under 5 mins) from Ipswich waterfront/marina.

Nice and central for ipswich, but not right in the centre about a 5 minute walk from the town centre, the waterfront, and the station . The staff were lovely. The gym was small, but clean and more than enough for a weekend stay. Would definitely use again.

Warm & friendly welcome!
We had a really warm, friendly welcome from the lady at the reception desk when we arrived. Our room was comfortable & clean. The rooms are big. There's not a hug amount if furniture in the rooms but it exactly as pictures show and funtional. The bar area was nice, very quiet but didn't bother us. We had a few games of Pool which was an unexpected nice touch. This hotel was everything I would expect for the money, if not more. Great location to walk to the Marina where we gad a lovely meal at the Bistro on the Quay!

The hotel room I had was great except from the noise from the outside traffic (Which could be an issue for some). It starts very early morning and ends very late in the evening. It would be great to have new noise isolated windows installed. The rest was absolute great.
