We loved the neighborhood feel and soaring ceilings for an authentice Florence stay with all the modern ammenities. Conveniently located in the cool Oltrarno neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, bars etc. while the B&B is a little haven that feels very safe and quiet. The rooms and hotel throughout have been designed with a lot of care featuring different kinds of art and other nice details, making it feel very homely. The staff have been extremely welcoming and helpful, too. Would definitely come back here!

Everything about our stay at the hotel was excellent beginning with the courteous and extremely nice staff, especially Alberto and Laura. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and had a great shower and bathroom facilities. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel and if we ever return to Firenze we will stay here again. I recommend highly staying this hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at the Oltrarno Splendid. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and there was always fruit and goodies to munch on in the afternoon/evening. The entry to the building was very cool - felt like another era, and the decoration of the hotel is very interesting. Our rooms was very nice and spacious and we had a free bottle of Chianti, which was awesome.

Truly a phenomenal stay! I am usually not one to take the time to write reviews but the Oltrarno Splendid really was fantastic and deserves every bit of praise. Everything is so charming and thoughtfully laid out. Our room also had the most incredible vintage toile wallpaper-- really one of a kind. The breakfast was also amazing! Laura makes the most wonderful latte and was so kind and hospitable. They also have fruit, pastries, coffee, tea, etc out at all hours for guests which made for a really nice mid-day treat. Looking forward to being back in Florence some day and hopefully having the chance to stay in this hotel again!

I had a wonderful stay at Oltrarno Splendid and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. From the moment I arrived, Davide at the front desk made me feel so welcome. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to offer recommendations or answer questions. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Each morning I looked forward to breakfast and a cappuccino from the onsite café—it was such a lovely way to start the day. The location is another huge highlight. It’s in a fantastic part of Florence, within easy walking distance of all the major sights, while still feeling a little quieter and more local than some of the busier tourist areas. Everything about my experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return.
